During the Easter holiday, (most of) the year came on a school trip to Amsterdam. I had never been to Amsterdam before, despite having travelled across much of Europe – albeit before the days of any architectural education, so for me, this was quite an exciting prospect. Another idea of Simon’s, I think, he really has had an impact on the School within his first year here and it’s been really great to see him be so motivational. Architecture is obviously his passion and he wants to share that with us. Unfortunately, the travel logistics didn’t run perfectly smoothly, however, aside from that, the trip was incredible.
