Experiencing a place is essential; at the end of the day, people are the focal point. I think expo pavilions tend to show the ‘fun-loving’ side of architects, allowed to do something perhaps a bit wacky, a bit different. Certainly the case for the blur pavilion. This building got a mention today in our lectures and well, I can’t help but think it’s very interesting, in fact, it develops such a level of curiosity into the experience of the place… What’s it all about I hear you ask… Why don’t you look for yourself?
Another interesting find was the Graz Kunsthaus which people could interact with from their very own laptop. Configuring the animations and sequences for the illuminating facade. Although I find this building to be quite out of place and well bizarre… The level of interaction is very cool!
